Squid dry fry 🐙


Ingredients:

- 🦑 Squid tubes, cleaned and sliced into rings

- 🧅 Onion, finely chopped

- 🧄 Garlic, minced

- 🌶️ Green chilies, sliced (adjust according to your spice preference)

- 🌿 Curry leaves

- 🌿 Turmeric powder

- 🌶️ Red chili powder

- 🌿 Coriander powder

- 🧂 Salt to taste

- 🥘 Oil for frying


Instructions:

1. 🛢️ Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.

2. ➡️ Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the onions turn translucent and aromatic.

3. ➡️ Add the sliced squid rings to the pan. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the squid turns opaque.

4. 🌿 Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder over the squid. Mix well to coat the squid evenly with the spices.

5. ➡️ Cook the squid uncovered, stirring occasionally, until any excess moisture evaporates and the squid starts to turn golden brown and crispy around the edges.

6. 🧂 Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.

7. ➡️ Once the squid is cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove it from the heat.

8. 🍽️ Serve the squid dry fry hot as a delicious appetizer or as a side dish with rice or bread.
