Yummy prawns roast 🍤
Ingredients:
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
4. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
6. Add cleaned prawns to the pan and mix them with the masala.
7. Cook the prawns for about 5-7 minutes or until they are cooked through. Be careful not to overcook them, as they can become rubbery.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or bread of your choice.
